rough day

another rough day... ready for tomorrow night at 5 so the weekend can come.

I missed Tuesday...

I got carried away with homework and then "life" problems last night that I was up too late trying to figure everything out. Over all, yesterday was a bad day. I tripped running on the treadmill, spilled water every chance I got and then got in a bad fight with my boyfriend.

I guess we'll see if today goes any better.

Mondays....

Oh, Mondays. It started with getting my butt out of bed and going to the gym nice and early...and then sitting in line for hockey tickets for this weekend. The line was stupid long. But, I got my ticket! So that is all that matters :) Other than that, today was uneventful. I was an awesome sister and did my brothers laundry for him. Yes, I was THAT bored. Just ready for this week to be over... already.

And, it's Sunday...

My relationship with Sundays is bittersweet. I love them, I hate them. I love the fact that they are lazy days, but I hate the fact that Monday is the day after. I also hate coming back here after a weekend at home, I have a really hard time because I love being home. 

Well, let's see how this week goes!!

Saturday.

Saturday is definitely the best part of the week. I mean, it is a little upsetting because Sunday is tomorrow.. but Saturday is definitely one of the most relaxing days. And today, for me, was very relaxing and fun.

My boyfriend and I went ice skating, now that is a sight to see. We are both awful, but even though we are so bad...it was still fun! We ended with some hot chocolate and some shopping in the outlet stores. We are going out to dinner later with my family. So really, today couldn't get much better :) And to be honest, there is nothing better than being home. I absolutely love it. Real food, real bed, real family. Nothing beats it.

As Michael Buble says.... "Another airplane, another sunny place. I'm lucky I know, but I wanna go home. I got to go home."

Let the weekend begin :)

This was a very short week, it actually flew by with the snow day and all! Today was a nice day, no classes! I love not having classes on Fridays. I love snow, too. So having that snow on Wednesday was awesome.

I am actually up in North Conway right now! My boyfriend and I drove up this afternoon and had to shovel out feet upon feet of snow. It wasn't too hard cause the snow was really fluffy, and I can't lie... my boyfriend did most of the shoveling, ha!

Well, it's almost time for dinner! So, I'll be sure to check back in tomorrow!

First Entry

So, this is the first entry of this wonderful blog that I have to keep. I am a little indifferent about having to keep this, but I am willing to give it a fair shot. I have never really kept legit a diary, or journal before... so this could be a true test!

Today was such a stressful day. I had to run around campus like a chicken with my head cut off to get so many signatures for my application to the WSBE. I have everything done, so now I wait. This is a stupid wait, and a stressful wait. But, all I can do is hope that they like me! I worked so hard last semester and I really hope that it paid off.

I am getting away from here this weekend, and I'm very excited! I am escaping to the White Mountains :) It should be a lot of fun.

I decided that the name of my blog is "Life is a Highway..." for the sole purpose that I was singing the song in my head all damn day! So, I thought it fit perfectly!
